One hundred years ago today … Over the two days since the Overalls Parade, the newspapers were performing their postmortem. It turns out not all the circus animals and performers made it, and they were not the only ones.

Thousands of protesters had been promised/predicted by the parade organizers in the Cheese Club and their media collaborators, but the numbers were far below that.

To make matters worse:

And hey, despite the parade’s failure, the overalls movement/trend continued at a New York wedding.
