One hundred years ago today … The New York Age printed this ad for Mona Marvel, a skin care product or company.

We admit that the advertisement is mysterious to us. No information is readily find-able about Mona Marvel.
However, we note that the given business address is 230 West 135th Street (between 5th and 6th Avenues), which just happened to be the address of the New York Age offices.
